Christian Youth In Action

What is CYIA?

Christian Youth in Action® (CYIA) is a summer missions program hosted by Child Evangelism Fellowship® staff and volunteers. Students will learn how to effectively share the gospel message with boys and girls at the week-long training school, and then help teach 5-Day Clubs in their local areas. CYIA gives students many opportunities to witness the miracle of salvation that takes place in children who hear and receive the Good News.

When is CYIA?

CYIA Pre-training is usually held the 2nd weekend of May, and CYIA Training School is usually held the 3rd full week of June. For this year those dates are:

CYIA Pre-training (NW Region)– May 13, 2023

CYIA Training School – June 17-23, 2023

Who can go?

CYIA is open to students who are going into 8th grade (and at least 13 years of age) through high school.
If you are 12 years of age and interested in attending CYIA, please contact your local CEF director about how you might be able to get involved early!

Is CYIA for me?

Do you love working with kids? Have you ever felt the need to share the message of salvation with someone who’s never heard? Have you ever wished you really knew how to share your faith? Have you ever wanted to teach something that really mattered? If you answered yes to any of those questions, then CYIA is for you! Click here to read a testimony of a current CYIA student and how CYIA has impacted her.

In order to stay connected and to come alongside your teens as they grow in Christ, we are trying to have monthly hangouts. Here we will have a devotional, fellowship, an event or activity planned, and food! You can also invite other friends who are interested in CYIA.
